Buds & Beads Ginger Rose is a sparkling tea, non-alcoholic drinks alternative. And it is packed full of goodness. Featuring Ginger, Rose, Ginko, Cardamon, Lemongrass, Tumeric, Rosehip, Lemon Myrtle, Hibiscus, Paw Paw Leaf, and Liquorice Root, this is the NSW tea companies “defence” blend in sparkling form. What does that mean? This drink is rich in antioxidants, helps reduce inflammation & bloating and aids in detoxification. It’s also INCREDIBLY low cal and low sugar. Winning!

But what does it taste like? Well… it’s light, slightly floral (though not too much thank goodness because I hate floral), a little smoky and subtly, naturally sweet. It’s ginger but not really aggressively so and I love the Liquorice Root that really carries the mouthfeel. The carbonation is light and delicate.

This is made with the wine occasion in mind. While I would not personally replace a wine with this sparkling tea, it is delicious as an alcohol free alternative in it’s own right. And I can basically feel the health benefits as I drink. Huzzah!

Only looses 1 point because for me it could have a little more oomph!
