You know that saying “you can’t have your cake and eat it too”? Well that quote is the story of this non-alcoholic beer. When I read the nutrition panel I got excited. With considerably lower cals, carbs and sugar than tried and tested booze free XPA Fav Heaps Normal I was thinking “could this be the new beer of my dreams”??

The answer is, it’s complicated. Much like with NORT which has the lowest cals on the AF beer market, what you get here is a much LIGHTER drinking XPA. You aren’t getting the really full flavour & mouth feel. The flavours that are there are nice. Citrus and slightly bitter, they are just a little…light. Having said that I am not after a meal in a glass with every beer so this could be a fabulous multi can sipper once the weather warms up! Not the XPA I was XPecting but a nice drop none the less!
