Irene from Sans Drinks is diversifying her in-house range of non-alcoholic spirits, with her first ready-to-drink non-alcoholic G&T. This one is very low cal and low sugar. It’s made to mimic a Dry London style gin.

In the glass it smells and little on the juniper side and a little spicy (which ticked my nose). To taste, hmmm I have notes. I think the juniper profile is GREAT. There’s that lovely bitterness and slight citrus edge. To review I am drinking this as-is and I definitely think this could be improved with a slice of lemon.

My only bone to pick is with the sweetener that has been used. Erythritol is used in the making of quite a few non-alcoholic drinks, the most widely used is Naked Life. Used to keep the sugar low, I always find Erythritol to have a slightly sherbety sweetness and a certain after-taste. You do have to make the sacrifice somewhere if you want to go low sugar. Hoping that squeeze of citrus covers that up!
